Whether you're planning a corporate function, a birthday, a family gathering, or just a great night out with friends, here's everything you need to know about hosting your next private event with us — venue details, pricing, real guest reviews, and exactly how the booking process works.

How Booking Actually Works

Planning a private event with us is simple, and here's exactly what to expect from start to finish:

  1. You reach out with your event date, guest count, and occasion type — by phone, email, or through the venue booking forms below.

  2. We walk you through your options — food, drink, and seating tailored to your group size, not a rigid fixed package.

  3. You choose your menu and beverage structure — shared platters or plated menus, plus a choice of drink-ticket tiers ($4/$8/$10/$13), a non-alcoholic package, or individual bar tabs.

  4. We confirm final details — headcount, dietary needs, and any AV/equipment requirements, 72 hours before your event.

  5. Your event runs with dedicated staff coordination — from food timing to table setup, so nothing is left to chance the day of.

No deposit is required upfront — payment happens the day of the event, and invoices are issued through Wix.

Pricing, Upfront

  • No booking fees. We don't charge a fee to reserve your date or space.

  • No rental fees. Private and semi-private sections aren't charged as a separate line item.

  • Minimum spend applies. Like most private event venues, a minimum spend is required and varies based on group size, date, and time of year — confirmed with you directly during planning, never hidden.

A Bit of Our History

Some longtime guests may remember Firkin on Bay Street, which was a wonderful part of our family for many years. Unfortunately, we made the difficult decision to close that location as the building it was in underwent redevelopment. We're grateful for the memories and events hosted there over the years, and we're proud to continue that same spirit of hospitality at The Goose, The Flatiron, and The Drake today.
