A server was first class very cooperative and make sure everybody was happy that your New Year's they give up party favours and we were able to go dancing with the DJ. It was so much fun. when you're looking to party, this is the place!
About this event
A pre-planned New Year's party, booked ahead and confirmed by text, with seating arranged on arrival, party favours handed out and a DJ for dancing. The review does not say how big the group was.
Where to book an event like this today
This event was hosted at Firkin on Bay Street, which has since closed permanently after the building it occupied was redeveloped. The same team now runs three pubs across the Greater Toronto Area, and taking a New Year's party booking well in advance is very much still something we do.
For a night built around music and dancing, look first at The Goose and Firkin, 1875 Leslie Street in North York. It holds 176 indoors for a standing reception, 273 at full capacity, seats 130 for a meal and has 107 patio seats for the summer months.
The Drake and Firkin, 6982 Financial Drive in Mississauga, takes 210 and parks everyone free of charge, and The FlatIron and Firkin, 49 Wellington Street East in the historic Gooderham Building, keeps things downtown for up to 91. The biggest room of the three is The Goose and Firkin, 1875 Leslie Street in North York, at 273.
Already thinking about ringing in the new year? Group bookings and private events at all three locations are arranged through OurPubEvents.com.
