I've had an event on Firkin on Bay last Friday and we had a great time, all of the staff was very friendly and very helpful, certainly doing more events on this bar, food was also amazing!

A Friday night group celebration built around good food and a friendly room, and the sort of evening the organiser planned to repeat. The review does not mention how many guests came along.

Where to book an event like this today

This event was hosted at Firkin on Bay Street, which has since closed permanently after the building it occupied was redeveloped. The same team now runs three pubs across the Greater Toronto Area, and giving a group a proper Friday night out is very much still something we do.

Start with The FlatIron and Firkin, 49 Wellington Street East. Set in the historic Gooderham Building, it takes up to 91 guests and keeps a group celebration right in the middle of downtown.

Out west, The Drake and Firkin at 6982 Financial Drive in Mississauga takes 210 at full capacity and has free parking on site; north of the core, The Goose and Firkin at 1875 Leslie Street is the largest room we have at 273 full capacity and seats up to 130 for a meal.
