Brought 14 guys in for our annual league draft night. The staff set us up in a great private pocket of the pub with clear views of the screens and easy access to outlets for everyone's laptops.

The service team kept the cold pints and food coming consistently without ever disrupting the flow of our draft.

Where to book an event like this today

This event was hosted at Firkin on Bay Street, which has since closed permanently after the building it occupied was redeveloped. The same team now runs three pubs across the Greater Toronto Area, and finding a league its own corner for draft night is very much still something we do.

A draft table of this size is an easy fit at The FlatIron and Firkin, 49 Wellington Street East, downtown in the historic Gooderham Building, which handles up to 91 in total and is quick to reach after work.

West-end leagues tend to prefer The Drake and Firkin, 6982 Financial Drive in Mississauga, which takes 210 at full capacity and has free parking on site, while The Goose and Firkin at 1875 Leslie Street in North York is our largest room at 273 and covers the midtown crowd.
