In our guest's words
Brought a large corporate group in for a weekday presentation lunch. Management arranged a quieter, spacious section that allowed for easy discussion.
The streamlined ordering process ensured the entire table's meals arrived simultaneously and piping hot. Truly excellent efficiency and professionalism for corporate clients.
About this event
A weekday presentation lunch for a large corporate group, seated in a quieter, spacious section so the table could talk while every meal landed at once. The review calls the group large but gives no exact number.
Where to book an event like this today
This event was hosted at Firkin on Bay Street, which has since closed permanently after the building it occupied was redeveloped. The same team now runs three pubs across the Greater Toronto Area, and putting on a seated weekday business lunch for a large group is very much still something we do.
A lunch on this scale belongs at The Goose and Firkin, 1875 Leslie Street in North York. It is the largest of the three, seats up to 130 for a meal and reaches 273 at full capacity. The Drake and Firkin at 6982 Financial Drive in Mississauga is the west-end option, seating up to 123 for a meal, reaching 210 at full capacity, and offering free parking on site for guests driving in.
Two alternatives are worth a look: The Goose and Firkin, 1875 Leslie Street in North York, seats up to 130 for a meal and suits midtown lunch bookings, while The FlatIron and Firkin, 49 Wellington Street East in the historic Gooderham Building, handles up to 91 downtown.
Need a room for your next presentation lunch? Group bookings and private events at all three locations are arranged through OurPubEvents.com.
