In our guest's words
Coordinated a corporate client mixer for around 35 attendees. The location on Bay Street is perfect for city professionals arriving from different office buildings.
Working with the team to finalize the catering arrangements beforehand was stress-free, and the floor execution on the night of the event was completely seamless.
About this event
A corporate client appreciation mixer for around 35 attendees, drawn from several office buildings nearby, with catering settled in advance so the evening itself only needed the floor team to keep it moving.
Where to book an event like this today
This event was hosted at Firkin on Bay Street, which has since closed permanently after the building it occupied was redeveloped. The same team now runs three pubs across the Greater Toronto Area, and hosting a downtown client mixer with catering agreed in advance is very much still something we do.
For a client night of about 35 in the financial core, The FlatIron and Firkin is the closest match. It occupies the historic Gooderham Building at 49 Wellington Street East and handles up to 91 people, so a mixer of this size sits comfortably inside.
If clients are coming in from the west, The Drake and Firkin at 6982 Financial Drive, Mississauga has free parking on site and room for 210; for a midtown crowd, The Goose and Firkin at 1875 Leslie Street, North York takes 176 indoors for a standing reception.
Thinking about how to thank your clients this year? Group bookings and private events at all three locations are arranged through OurPubEvents.com.
